Peter Goodman, CBI, CM&AP, President, started his career in business brokerage in 2003. Since that time, Peter sas sold over 100 businesses of many types and sizes, from manufacturing to restaurants to retail stores, from service/trade businesses to distribution companies.
Peter holds the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation from the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and regularly attends and occasionally teaches educational classes and workshops for business brokerage. He is a licensed real estate broker.
Previously Peter had a successful career in starting small computer companies in the Boston area. His last computer venture, PCs for Everyone in Cambridge MA had grown to become the then largest independent computer dealer in New England and was sold to an industry buyer in 2009.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts with degrees in Economics and Chinese Language, Peter later pursued an MBA at Babson College.

As a business broker with Goodman and Company, Peter provides business advisory and transaction-related services to clients in the sale of their companies, be it through acquisition or business Combination. He is highly sought after for his merger and acquisition expertise, which ranges from evaluating exit strategies and structuring offering memorandums to deal negotiations and successfully bringing his clients “To the table” for a closing.
With a wealth of experience in international transactions, high tech, consumer goods, retail, distribution, manufacturing and service businesses, Peter is prepared to address the needs of owners in a variety of industries. He understands the forces at work in generational transfers as well as in arms-length transactions.
Peter has been a business broker for twelve years and he holds a Master’s degree in business from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s degree in economics and physics from Lehigh University. He speaks Italian and French. Peter holds a Massachusetts real estate license. Outside of the office, Peter is an avid racing sailor on Buzzards Bay.
